BEFORE YOUR EYE EXAM
It is wise to understand your prescription and review your lifestyle and how you use your eyes when, so you can get the most appropriate prescription for your needs. We consult with you and write & provide personal Prescription Review & Reduction Letters and email it directly to your Optometrist of Choice. (See our recommended list below)
Under the principles of Natural Vision Improvement, we are guided to wear glasses only when we need them and wear 'reduced' prescriptions or step-down/transition lenses in order to relax the visual-nervous system and the extra-ocular muscles to minimize visual stress. Transition lenses, when used with the proper eye-cises and relaxation techniques result in better binocularity, improved clarity and general mind-body relaxation.
AFTER YOUR EYE EXAM:
After receiving your prescription, often clients have questions about the prescription or the exam itself and it is often a wise idea to check the prescriptions accuracy.
Knowing that the prescription matches the reduction letter guidelines we provide saves future mistakes. Understanding what the numbers on your prescription mean empowers you to make educated decisions or ask for changes before you order your lenses.
If you would like to discuss the outcome of an eye exam, get guidance on how to read or understand your prescription, check its accuracy and/or understand what reduced lens/contacts you should be using for what - this is what our Prescription Review Consult is for!
